Mrs Pavey said the funding is part of the NSW Government’s Crown reserve Improvement Fund which supports highly-valued public assets.
“Our state-owned public reserves are very important for our communities and this funding will directly contribute to the upgrade of Dorrigo Showground’s amenity and infrastructure.”
Specifically, the $19,145 grant will enable the installation of four powerhead poles, each pole having 4 x 15 Amp outlets with residual current circuit breaker override protection, and to supply these poles with 3- phase buried cabling via distribution boards.
“Showgrounds are vital community hubs, and Dorrigo’s is no exception.
“I also congratulate the Dorrigo Showground Trust on the great job it does in managing and maintaining this wonderful public facility,” Mrs Pavey said.
